SUNN O))) formed in 1996 in Seattle WA. Their sound is a synthesis of several genres. Supported by a cast of collaborators, O))) has two core members: Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson [Shoshin (初心) Duo]. Anyone can play loud, but the Seattle masters of slow metal turn noise into an overwhelming physical experience. □
